Programme overview

A foundation programme for professionals entering the market from banking, corporate finance, law or operations. It maps the institutions of the Egyptian market — the EGX, MCDR, the FRA and licensed intermediaries — and explains how capital is raised and traded between them.

Sessions are built around live market documents: prospectuses, disclosure filings, order tickets and settlement reports, so participants leave able to read the paperwork their firm handles every day.

Key learning outcomes

  • 01Describe the roles of the EGX, MCDR, FRA and licensed intermediaries
  • 02Distinguish primary issuance from secondary market trading
  • 03Read an equity and a treasury instrument term sheet
  • 04Follow an order through matching, clearing and T+2 settlement

  • 06Identify the disclosure obligations that apply to listed issuers
